Bacon + Chocolate = Awesome

Today my boss introduced me to the wonder that is bacon chocolate. If you just gagged a little, I can excuse that. But you should try it. It's weird. It's good. Enough said.

The particular brand I had was Vosges. But you can acquire bacon + chocolate through many other venues. Mmmmmmhmmmm.

Victory Garden

Over the weekend (and spilling over into this week), my hubby built a sweet new planter to house some veggies and herbs. The actual construction of the bed took a few hours. The laborious part was making it level and filling it with dirt. According to the plant labels and seed packets, I will be chowing down on some strawberries, carrots, green beans, eggplant and various herbs in 50-60 days.
